Exile Pots by Exile Pots

The booksmusicfilmstv.com Underground & Indie Music Index
56 instrumental tracks gathered from EP's work from 1993 to 2017, including 23 exclusive tracks. A wide range of sounds and moods here, which vary from the Dystopian feel of Paroxysm, Fire Extinguisher, SkR@tMvNt and Bollocks to the mesmerising soothing nature of Frank The Signalman, Andy Pandy, Budleigh, Eryri, Forgotten Toy and Leaving [remixed]. While Hot Point – remix, Banana [remixed] and Tap Eel sound like an alien rave!
The Minch is mellow, and there's a spacey quintet of Wobble Trot, One Fifties, Stacks [remixed], THEY 69 and Dear Bed. Disconcerting sounds too, with Matter of Heat, compared to the uplifting nature of TinTak.
0 One erupts into a thing of beauty. And the jaunty Countdown is inspired by the twiddles in the show itself. Space Bend is Floydian, One Fifties, Tangerine Dreamy. Sounding like a theme for an Olympic Games is Greece '85 (which is a good thing), STENDEC is unsettling, Aze Bestro, melodious.
Meanwhile, Back At The Loft is an electronic, other-worldly fanfare, Toes, fun experimentation. Day is absorbing, fluctuating, Interluder and The Pigeon Man joyous. The heavy sweetness of The Oort, a conjuring up of space travel re Mars, the pretty Toy Maker, relaxing Time Lag Accumulations, quirky UTI (nettle mix), the playfulness of Mognal Sigulator [reconditioned], and industrial synthy sound of Gurnard. It's fair to say there is something for everyone with an interest in electronic music here.
Best track Budleigh.
